Crowne Plaza Atlanta - Midtown by IHG

The rooms where kinda clean but it just gives off creepy vibes.. the 1st elevator to the left is haunted.. that thing went up down and repeated it self 3 times until we finally got it to stop, and we ran off of it. The floors and walls look creepy with water bubbles and water damage. Our room had a bloody towel when we got in it. Also a old water bottle under the bed followed by dust bunnies. The pool is cool but its closes at 8pm. Which is really early considering the beautiful location and the views of downtown. For the price you would think it would be nice but... its mid The customer service and valet service were great.

Tia made me and my companies stay at the Crowne exceptional during our trade-show IPPE. The level of effort she displayed in satisfying my needs and my companies was above and beyond. I will be rebooking with my entire company come the next IPPE trade show because of her. The Crowne should recognize her professionalism and hospitality.

Rooms are very nice. Hallways could use updating and cleaning. Service is fantastic and friendly. Upon arriving we were told there was no hot water in the building. However, it was restored next afternoon. Location is great but loud being downtown directly across from Emory EC! Overall worth the stay!

Me and a few of my tribe members came into Atlanta to see Nahko at Vinyl. When we arrived at the hotel October 10th around 3pm, it was utter chaos but the valet gentlemen were all smiles and super helpful. When we came inside to overly full lobby. We found out the company hired for housekeeping was way under staffed. They were running about 5 hours behind for clean rooms. Which meant 5 hour behind for check ins. The hotel was also hosting The National Federation of the Blind for their 52nd annaual convention. Over 100 people with accessibility issues crammed into the lobby. It was very obvious the hotel staff were very overwhelmed. But they were handling all the chaos with grace. We get our rooms, they were not the updated rooms, which was ok because they were clean, and beds were comfortable. Super happy we had rooms that were comfortable and clean, in a safe hotel, in fully booked Midtown. Later we find out the boiler for the hot water was not working. I know the manager honestly thought the repair guys would get it work by morning. It was not. At this point he is having to finding another company to come out on a Saturday for repairs, but I guess he didn't find anyone that was successful. Everyone in the hotel taking cold showers, for 2 days lol. He was apologetic but was stuck with a giant problem that was out of his control. He gave all of us breakfast vouchers. The food was great and the wait staff even better. We all embraced the problems like it was family gathering. Super thanks to all the guest and staff that made it through the weekend with smiles and love. We will be staying again :)

Rarely do you come across an individual like Tia in the hospitality industry. My family and I just stayed there for Cheer Sport. The bartender Tia made sure they were open serving guest at 5:30am Saturday morning with a smile on her face. To my surprise Tia was also there at 11:45pm Sunday night. Same smile. Same amazing service. She took pride in making sure that the guests were not only taken care of but also happy. Tia is the kind of employee that makes people chose to return your establishment. Best bartender/brand ambassador you can ask for.

My coworkers and I stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms are fair. However, we experienced impeccable service from Tia Toombs, who took care of us each night at their lobby restaurant. The weather was bitter cold during our stay, so we opted to remain at the hotel each night for dinner. Tia made us feel at home and by the end of the 3 nights, we felt she was a friend. She deserves accolades from Crowne Plaza. You are truly lucky to have her as your employee!

First off, it's not the Crowne Plaza Midtown any longer. I believe it was recently sold to another hotel investment group. It looks as though they came in and did some painting and slight decor changes but I wouldn't call all of them "improvements". If anything the hotel has a worn, almost tired, and definitely cheaper look and feel about it. If u plan on eating here, make sure you do so before midnight because after that there is only "The Market" left open and it's selection is, well let's just say, basic unless you love Sun Chips because im pretty sure they have every flavor! Besides the vast selection of SunChips and of course overpriced sodas (but that's all hotels now), there just isn't much 'real' food so eat before midnight or use Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc.

Here for a Comedy show at the State Farm... Room is clean and ready, very convenient location. Only Con: How they offer parking for PAID ROOM customers and charge them $19 EVERY TIME THEY LEAVE THE PARKING GARAGE...NOW THAT IS A RIP OFF!! Never and I mean NEVER AGAIN!!!
